Youth Fitness Classes in Waterford

Even with the best of intentions it is clear that sport coaches rarely know how to safely administer an age appropriate strength and conditioning plan for their athletes. This is where we can help. Kevin has been working with youth athletes on a full-time basis since he began his coaching career in America in 2016.

Exercise and structured physical activity can help develop a positive body image, build confidence and support high self-esteem. However, it can be difficult for kids to meet exercise recommendations each week. Schools seem to have less and less time for P.E. as the years go on and it can be hard to find something enjoyable to do if children do not have much interest in sports such as football and G.A.A. – This is why we created our youth programmes – so that we can build movement into the week for everybody.

We build fun and engaging session plans that kids love. Within each session we work on foundational movement patterns like catching, jumping and throwing. We then progress to the strength and conditioning portion of the workout. Our youth classes are self-paced as we understand that not everybody progresses at the same level and each session lasts 60 minutes.
