No B.S. 20 Minute Circuit

Stuck for time in the gym but still want to have a great workout? Try this simple 20 minute circuit.


Exercise #1: Exercise Ball Plank

Exercise #2: Banded Pull-Aparts

Exercise #3: Dumbbell Curl

  • Hold a plank for 15 seconds
  • Then, immediately perform 10 banded pull-aparts
  • Lastly, perform 5 dumbbell curls
  • 15-10-5

Perform every minute on the minute for a total of 20 minutes. For example, if it takes 40 seconds to complete the first round, you would rest for 20 seconds, and begin your second round at the 1 minute mark.

In doing so, you will perform a total of:

  • 300 second plank
  • 200 band pull-aparts
  • 100 dumbbell curls

Therefore, it’s important to GO LIGHT so as to not burn yourself out in early rounds. For this, I chose a red resistance band (light resistance) and a pair of 8 lb dumbbells.
