Motiv8 Fitness Goes Running

Running Group

We recently had a small group of members from Motiv8 Fitness participate in the Tramore Parkrun. The Tramore Parkrun is a free weekly 5km timed event and is open to the public.

We know that people join Motiv8 Fitness for a variety of different reasons but the one thing that unites us all is the common goal and pursuit of self-improvement.

Kevin provided a free programme to the running group to help extend the positive influence of the gym outside of the four gym walls. The running programme was seven weeks in duration and consisted of two weekly runs. The running programme helped prepare our members for the big day and we are delighted to report that everyone crossed the finish line successfully.

We are incredibly proud of this group! Our members would not be considered typical runners by any means but everyone was able to come together, be disciplined for training runs and build some fitness along the way.

The Tramore Parkrun route is incredible and The results from the Tramore Parkrun were uploaded immediately after the race and could be viewed through email also. This could not be achieved without the incredible work of of the volunteers!
