Lauren Murphy - Assistant Gym Manager / Fitness Coach

Lauren is the Coordinator and Lead Coach of our Autism Friendly and Down Syndrome Fitness Classes at Motiv8 Fitness. With a deep passion for inclusivity, she creates safe, effective programmes that empower every participant to thrive.

She also provides 1-to-1 coaching for individuals with additional needs, offering tailored plans for those with autism, Down syndrome, or recovering from stroke. Her coaching style is known for being supportive, adaptable, and results-focused.

Lauren began her fitness career in July 2021 at invincABLE in Waterford, where she developed progressive programmes for children and adults returning to exercise. Her hands-on experience in specialised training has made her a trusted coach for accessible fitness in Waterford.

Lauren holds a BSc in Health & Exercise Science from SETU Waterford and is certified through REPS Ireland as a health specialist, personal trainer, and group fitness instructor.

A lifelong athlete, she earned a black belt in Kickboxing at 13 and competed nationally in jiu-jitsu.

Recently, she’s embraced CrossFit—drawing on her own journey to inspire others.

At Motiv8, Lauren leads small group sessions, strength and fitness classes, and inclusive personal training. Her approachable style makes clients of all abilities feel confident and capable.

Outside the gym, Lauren enjoys art, time with friends, and grabbing her favourite coffee from Molly’s in Tramore—her pick for the best brew in Waterford.

Malgorzata Korytko - Fitness Coach

Margo began her fitness journey at 17 after being left to figure things out alone in her school gym. That experience sparked a passion to become the kind of coach who supports and guides others with confidence and care. She went on to earn her Gym and Fitness Class Instructor Certification in 2021 and a National Certificate in Exercise and Health Fitness in 2022.

Before joining Motiv8 Fitness in October 2024, Margo gained hands-on experience across several fitness facilities in Waterford. She worked as a personal trainer, group instructor, and duty manager, delivering a range of classes—from spinning and HIIT to teen and older adult fitness. She also tutored youth and women’s fitness programs with Waterford Sports Partnership.

Margo’s approach is rooted in positivity and personal connection. She believes fitness should be something to enjoy, not endure. She’s also trained through the Autastic workshop to better support individuals with Autism, ADHD, and dyspraxia—ensuring her sessions are inclusive and welcoming to all.

At Motiv8, she particularly enjoys coaching older adults and small group personal training, where a strong sense of community helps everyone feel at home. Her most common advice to clients? “Take it one day at a time—every small win counts.”

Outside the gym, Margo enjoys cooking, sharing meals with family and friends, and relaxing with a good thriller book or movie.
