Youth Personal Training in Waterford
At Motiv8 Fitness, we launched our Youth Fitness Classes in 2021 to create new opportunities for 11–16-year-olds in Waterford. Since then, these classes have grown in popularity, helping countless young people build strength, confidence, and fitness.
However, we’ve recognised that some youths and kids in Waterford could benefit from more tailored support. That’s why we’re excited to introduce our Small Group Youth Personal Training programme—designed to provide a more personalised approach to fitness for kids and teens.
Small Group Youth Personal Training
While kids fitness classes remain a fantastic option for many, we understand that some children and teens thrive with a more individualised approach. Our Small Group Youth Personal Training programme combines the benefits of one-to-one coaching with the energy and camaraderie of small groups.
In groups of no more than five participants, your child will receive a fully customised fitness plan that aligns with their developmental stage and goals. Sessions include fitness assessments, goal planning, and “homework” exercises to support their weekly routine.
This programme is ideal for:
- Athletes with competition dates, such as swimmers preparing for nationals or Irish dancers gearing up for All-Ireland’s or World Championships.
- Team sport athletes who need flexible training that accounts for their match schedules.
- Injury recovery and movement improvement, including support for conditions like Dyspraxia or Scoliosis.
- Kids who prefer a smaller, more comfortable environment, with a maximum of five participants per session to ensure personalised attention.

If you’re looking for a personal trainer in Waterford for your child, now’s the perfect time to get started. Sessions are available at the following times:
Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:30 pm
Saturdays at 10:30 am
We use the PushPress booking system, which allows parents and guardians to choose the best day and time for their child each week. With the flexibility to complete the 4 or 8 sessions per month on any day across the schedule, this programme is designed to fit into even the busiest family routines.
